On the Loch — Six Different Ways

Paddleboards, kayaks, pedalos, rowing boats, jet skis and doughnut rides — all from the lochside hut, all on Loch Ronald.

Loch Ronald is the watersports loch. Beyond the Aqua Park (which is the obstacle-course headline-act), the hut on the shore hires out a proper fleet — single and tandem kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, pedalos, rowing boats, jet skis and the occasional inflatable doughnut for towed rides. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids come with everything.

It’s a forgiving loch to learn on — flat by morning, no tides, no boats overtaking. First-timers welcome; the team behind the counter can talk you into the right kit and through the basics. Already a paddler? Bring your own and use our annual storage scheme to keep it on-site between visits.

A Guest Quote

Our beautiful idyllic paradise. It is great for me as I enjoy the solitude, peace and quiet — but also suits my hubby as he likes to be around people, so he goes visiting the other owners, who are all lovely. Perfect for both of us. Plenty for all ages to do, great staff who are always available to help when you need it. Don't think anyone would find a better place to stay.
