The Duck or Grouse

Every park has a bar. Ours has a personality. The Duck or Grouse is the spot you’ll wander into for a drying-out coffee on day one and find yourself eating Sunday roast in on day three.

Your Local For The Week

The kitchen does proper pub food without being precious about it — burgers, fish, a roast on Sundays, kids’ menu that doesn’t taste like an afterthought. Dogs are welcome at most tables, kids in their own corner if they fancy crayons, and there’s a beer garden the moment the sun gets going. There’s a pool table and a dartboard for slow afternoons, and on the right kind of evening someone gets a guitar out.
